UWASNET’s organisational structure

The governance and management organs of UWASNET are as follows: The supreme governing body of UWASNET is the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM elects an Executive Committee to which it delegates its regular governance responsibilities
  • The management responsibilities of the organization are handled by a secretariat consisting of appointed staff headed by an Executive Director
There are five thematic Working groups, namely Hygiene and Sanitation, Urban Water Supply and Sanitation, Technologies, Women and Children, and Policy and Advocacy. Another working group on Resources Management, Environment and Climate Change has been proposed.
