Purpose of the Networking, information and Coordination Programme

The purpose is to enable UWASNET members to influence and respond to policies, strategies and implementation mechanisms through networking and information exchange   of information.

 Achievements in the implementation of the networking, Information and coordination include:
Utilization of appropriate platforms to contribute to the sector, promotion of NGO/ CBO work and advocacy for the voiceless; UWASNET members’ awareness and responsiveness to their operating environment; Up-to-date and easily accessible UWASNET membership database; Information regarding funding organisations made available to UWASNET members; Well equipped information centre utilised by UWASNET members, Partners and members of the public; Information and promotional materials like UWASNET Quarterly newsletter, brochures, UWASNET WATSAN monthly updates etc disseminated to UWASNET members and other stakeholders; Improved Governance of UWASNET  and Improved Coordination.
